Historical society to host potluck of 'recipes from the old country' | Community News

The Historical Society of Cheshire County is hosting one of its Pop Up Museums, and this time it’s also a potluck luncheon — the theme is Family Recipes from the Old Country.

The event will be at the Historical Society at 246 Main St. in Keene on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of an admission fee, the Society requests members of the public prepare a favorite dish using a recipe that has been passed down in their family through generations.

Recipes can be breakfast, lunch, appetizer or dessert items. The Historical Society is also seeking donations of family recipes for its forthcoming recipe booklet. The publication will highlight the mosaic of cultures that make up Cheshire County.

To RSVP for the potluck, visit hsccnh.org, or call 352-1895.
