2 loaves brioche, sliced
1 ½ cups sugar
2 tbsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
4 oz amber rum
1L 10% cream
2 c.Coarse salt
freshly ground pepper
4 large eggs

1 tablespoon unsalted butter (softened, for spreading)
4 slices Italian white bread
Parmesan (grated, to taste)
