Accra, Oct 22, GNA - Management of Binatone,
dealers in Home electrical appliances has organised a cooking contest for 10
chefs in Accra as part of activities to commemorate international chef day
which falls on October, 20.The contest brought together male and female
chefs from Dansoman, Kaneshie, Nungua, La trade fair among others to exhibit
their cooking skills to mark the day.

Accra, Nov 10, GNA - The Deputy Minister of
Trade and Industry, Mr Carlos Ahenkorah on Friday said, the Warehouse Receipt
System (WRS) is an integral part of agricultural trade and financing and very
important for agricultural development.He said the system, would improve storage,
promotes structured trade and enhance financing, is expected to reduce risk of
contract and performance defaults in agricultural trade and facilitate
competitive financing with agricultural commodities as collateral.
